The oval gear flowmeter belongs to a positive displacement flowmeter, which is a class of high-accuracy flowmeters. It uses a mechanical measuring element to continuously divide the fluid into a single known volume portion and measures the total flow volume according to the number of times the metering chamber fills and discharges the fluid in that volume portion successively and repeatedly. A thermal gas mass flow meter is an instrument that measures flow rate according to the thermal properties of gases. By detecting constant temperature differences in the medium, the flow meter is able to provide high-accuracy measurement results. The sensor part of the GLM200 thermal gas mass flow meter is composed of two reference level Pt100 temperature sensors. With a bridge loop circuit, one of the temperature sensors will detect the temperature of the flow, while the other one will be constantly at a temperature higher than the flow; thus, the measurement will not be affected by both high temperature and pressure conditions.
