Sewage treatment system refers to a treatment system that removes or transforms main pollutants in urban sewage and industrial wastewater through physical, chemical or biological treatment methods, thereby meeting environmental discharge standards or reusable water quality requirements. The entire sewage treatment process mainly consists of filtration, primary sedimentation, aeration tank, secondary sedimentation, disinfection and other processes.
To ensure the stability and efficiency of the sewage treatment process, the following key parameters must be continuously monitored:
Changes in temperature will directly affect the rate and effect of biological reactions. By monitoring the temperature, operating parameters such as oxygen supply and stirring speed can be adjusted to maintain appropriate biological reaction conditions and improve treatment effects.
pH value is a measure of the acidity and alkalinity of water and has an important impact on biological growth and chemical reactions. Too acidic or too alkaline will affect or even kill microorganisms and damage the treatment system.
Dissolved oxygen is an important indicator for maintaining the survival and oxidation process of organisms in water bodies. By detecting dissolved oxygen concentration, we can evaluate the biological activity and oxidation ability of microorganisms in the sewage treatment system, and adjust the oxygen supply in time to improve the treatment effect and stability of the sewage treatment system.
Suspended solids may contain organic matter, heavy metals, bacteria and other pollutants, posing potential threats to the environment and human health. Detecting the concentration of suspended solids can evaluate the removal effect and processing capacity of the sewage treatment system to ensure that the effluent quality meets relevant standards.
During the sewage treatment process, suspended solids are removed by sedimentation, filtration or oxidation to form sludge. Sludge is a solid material containing organic matter, microorganisms, heavy metals and other pollutants. By detecting sludge concentration, we can evaluate the treatment effect, guide sludge treatment and disposal, and ensure the safety of water quality and environment after treatment.
Monitor parameters such as pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, sludge concentration, and suspended solids throughout the entire sewage treatment process through online water quality meters, digital water quality electrodes, and multi-parameter water quality meters, etc. Data is transmitted to a backend monitoring system via RS485, or uploaded to a cloud platform via wireless collection modules. This enables remote management and monitoring, further improving the automation and networking of the sewage treatment system.
