The 2023 outing activities in Li Mountains

Riding a cable car slowly upward, the team enjoyed the lush greenery of Lishan on one side and the city skyline on the other. In the distance, winding rivers and drifting clouds added to the charm. Following forest steps, they reached Wind Listening Pavilion and Wangjing Tower ruins.

From the pavilion, they could see the famous Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang at a distance. The red walls partially surrounded the pavilion, creating a peaceful spot to relax. Higher up stood the magnificent Laomu Hall, with a platform offering views of the beacon tower, and nearby, the similarly styled Laojun Hall.

At lunchtime, the company prepared a rich meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and shared stories from the hike. The company also held a birthday party for 10 employees born in June.

At 2:30 PM, the group visited Huaqing Pool Scenic Area, located at the foot of Lishan. Huaqing Palace, also known as Huaqing Pool, was an imperial garden famous for its hot springs. Every stone and leaf there was steeped in history.

Visitors wandered amid pavilions and ponds, feeling like they were in a fairyland. Inside the palace, colorful carvings and flourishing willows created a magnificent scene. Guides explained the history and stories of key locations.

The team visited Shangshan Lake, Furong Lake, and other scenic sites. The luxurious pavilions of Huaqing Palace were surrounded by clear green waters and floating duckweed. The magnificent setting brought the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty vividly to life.

After learning about the love between Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, the group walked to the "Five-Room Hall," the site where the Xi'an Incident's first shot was fired. The walls and windows still showed bullet holes, evoking the tense and dramatic atmosphere.

The "Beacon Fire Prank" is a famous historical tale. King You of Zhou was a cruel king whose beautiful but never smiling concubine Bao Si led him to light beacon fires falsely to make warlords rush to see her smile.

To witness this historic scene, the team climbed to the beacon platform at Lishan's summit. This steep climb was a test of strength and will. After less than an hour, sweaty but determined, they reached the beacon tower to enjoy the lush, diverse mountain views from the top.

At 8:00 PM, all company employees watched the spectacular live stage show "The Song of Everlasting Regret." The stage dazzled with colorful lights, waterfalls, and dramatic drumbeats. Dancers moved gracefully, creating an unforgettable visual feast.
